The Dynamotive Project

Dynamotive’s flagship 200 tonnes per day plant is located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The plant was developed with MegaCity Recycling Inc. and is about a 45-minute drive west of Toronto, Ontario. The plant operates under the name Evolution Biofuels Inc.
The pyrolysis plant comprises of eight fully assembled modules. The plant will process, once in full operation, 66,000 dry tones of biomass a year and have an energy output equivalent to 130,000 barrels of oil (BOE).

Westlake Industries

Westlake Industries was contracted to pre-fabricate four of the eight modules under controlled conditions in our Burlington plant facility. The scope of the project included the fabrication and assembly of structural steel, carbon and stainless steel piping, installation of equipment and the electrical tray, cabling and instrumentation.
